Alicia Keys – FREE YouTube Concert for a Benefit

I recently completed VA Classroom’s Virtual Event Specialist Certification program.  Virtual Events are rising in demand for small business owners to offer their products and/or services to a broader audience at a fraction of the cost.

Here’s an example of how Virtual Events are stretching over to the Entertainment Business as well.

On December 1, 2009, which is World Aids’ Day, at 8:00PM (EST), Alicia Keys will be doing her very own “Virtual Concert” on YouTube from the Nokia Theater in New York City.  The donation proceeds for Alicia’s concert will go directly to her charity organization, Keep A Child Alive to help the children and families that are affected by HIV Aids.

See the video below for additional information.

I hope that Alicia’s concert do exceptionally well, and if you look at the breakdown of “average concert costs”, if everyone pitches in half of the amount that they would typically spend at a live in-person concert, “Keep A Child Alive” should break records on Tuesday during this awesome event!

Item Price
Concert Tickets $75
Parking $25
Concert Outfit $100
Dinner $40
Souvenir $30
TOTAL $270
